Cage-free, no kennels
Your dog is dropped off, groomed, and picked up. There are no kennels and no cage dryers, and no waiting around in a crate between steps.

No muzzles, no restraints
The groom is humane and integrative, in the salon's own words: compassionate grooming is the whole point. Senior dogs and nervous dogs get extra time and extra care.

Meet Kearsea
A master groomer who also works movie sets
Kearsea founded South County Grooming Co. in 2024, after running her own mobile grooming business, Lambordoghi. The salon is the settled home for a career spent entirely with animals.
She has been a Certified Master Groomer since 2010. Since 2013 she has also been a member of Hollywood Teamsters Union Local 399, working as an Animal Trainer and Wrangler and as a Dog Groomer for the motion picture industry. Dogs trust her on loud, busy film sets. They trust her in a quiet San Clemente salon, too.

This place is a gem! I have a 12 year old chocolate lab who needed some extra love due to his age and she delivered. The booking process was easy, she explained her process and pricing, plus the location is clean and accommodating with snacks and drinks for the humans. I couldn't have been more pleased in picking up our grand dog after a groom from here. First, she doesn't over book! Your dog gets dropped off, groomed and picked up. Trout has never looked better. I very highly recommend this dog salon to anyone and everyone. Kearsea, you're outstanding! Trouty is even smiling that's over with.

My dog loves her! She has a way with animals. My dogs coat was nicer than ever before with her. I highly recommend South County Grooming Co, especially if your dog means the world to you. I will be driving an hour one way to her new shop but you understand if you're the type of dog owner that won't let "just anyone" have your dogs in their care.
